About the Author

Growing up in a small, rural town in North Dakota using my imagination was the best way to pass the extremely long winters. I spent most days devouring books. Okay, that and playing video games with my big brother.

I got my love of science fiction and fantasy from my dad, who hooked me on classics like The Lord of the Rings, Dune, and Dragonriders of Pern by the time I was eight. After a school project required creating my own story to share, I fell in love with how it was capable of touching the hearts and minds of others. That passion for crafting tales has only grown over the years, and I published my debut novel, The Drift, in March 2021.

I still live in North Dakota with my amazingly patient husband, incredible daughter, and a very silly miniature dachshund. When I'm not reading or writing, chances are, I'm either spending time with family, baking, or boxing.
